Adult Volunteers

Become an adult volunteer with the 28th Bournemouth today. We could always benefit from the help and getting involved with Scouting is an extremely fun and rewarding experience.

We are constantly on the lookout for new leaders to help run our Beaver Lodges, Cub Packs and Scout Troops. You can help either as a Section Leader or an Assistant Section Leader or an Occasional Helper.

We also welcome anyone that may be interested in being a member of our Executive Committee, who help run our group from ‘behind the scenes’ (which is great if you want to be involved but working with young people isn’t your thing!).

We particularly love it when our adult volunteers have particular interests or skills which they may be able to share with, or teach, our young members.

As a volunteer, you can give as much or as little time as you like to Scouting. That goes for training too: occasional helpers can start straight away, but the option to train as a full leader is there. At the end of the day, we all do it for fun!
